Information Event May 23

We’ll be giving a presentation at the Eno River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on May 23 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. Please join us if you can. We’d love to meet everybody and talk about our vision and plans. If you have any questions, drop me a line.

Any foodies out there?

Are you a foodie? Read this New York Times article about the Eno Restaurant, soon to be opening in downtown Durham. It will be about 0.4 miles away from our building. That’s about 7 minutes if you walk.

Land Ho!

After weeks of negotiations our offer to purchase land for our building has been accepted! We’re now (subject to contingencies, of course) the proud owners of two lots on Hunt Street near Rigsbee Avenue in Durham, NC. The lots are across Rigsbee Avenue from Durham Central Park, across Hunt Street from the Durham Center for Senior Life, and next door to the District 5 Substation of the Durham Police Department. The Farmer’s Market and the YMCA are a block away. We’ll be able to walk 6 minutes to movies and concerts at the Carolina Theater and 12 minutes to the Broadway shows at the Durham Performing Arts Center.

When you’re in the heart of the city, you’re close to everything! See our map.
